Introducing Dr. Emmanuela Consulting

I am so excited to share that the day has come for Dr. Emmanuela Consulting to officially launch. I have spent the past 6 months getting all of my ducks in a row to share the great news. I completed my doctorate in Higher Education Administration in June where my dissertation explored how second-generation Afro-Caribbean college women make meaning of their race, ethnicity, and gender. And now I’m here as a consultant to help other BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color) women who are pursuing their doctorate while holding down a day job. Pursuing a doctorate is difficult but particularly challenging for women of color who are also balancing full time jobs. Dr. Emmanuela Consulting was started to help BIPOC women realize their dreams of completing their doctorate without loosing themselves.

Additionally, I consult with higher education institutions, non-profits, and corporations to create diverse and inclusive environments and processes that lead to recruiting and retaining diverse talent. I have over 15 years of higher education experience and you can learn more about me here.

Glad to have you here. Stick around and explore the website, sign up for my monthly newsletter, and spread the word. Thank you for stepping into my little corner of the internet. Also, if you like what you see, don’t keep it a secret. Share with your network! Thanks in advance!
